“Americans have lost confidence in the Republican leadership. The war in Iraq, the use of torture, wiretapping without warrants, a bungled response to Hurricane Katrina, tax breaks for the rich, a budget busting national deficit, failing foreign policy that puts the nation at the mercy of big oil, greater fear of terrorism than five years ago, more terrorists setting their sights an Americans and the military, the list goes on and on. We are convinced Americans have had enough. Our government is broke. Let’s fix it...we can do this together!”

It’s more than political hype, says Campbell. “The number of people wanting to help fix the problem is soaring. In 2004, we had only 14 people who volunteered to be Neighborhood Headquarters for the Democratic Party. This year we have almost 200, reaching every part of the county. Attendance at our meetings is up, donations are up and lots of people want information about our candidates.”
